I blogged about this Babette blanket last September.
I am struggling to remember when it was actually started.
To say progress has been slow may be an understatement!
I have probably been slowed down by 'blocking' each square. (excuses excuses)
This week I have pulled it out and finished another section.
There is only one more to go.
The finish line is in my sights!!!!

That is gorgeous!I love those colours and I really like the 'random' look to it, what a great labour of love!
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing, a slow process but well worth the effort!
ReplyDeleteGosh, it's just lovely! You'll get there.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you've made something as incredible as that crocheted masterpiece!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see yours ... Where do you plan on putting it, or using it? In the caravan? You're so talented, Megan. An inspiration really.
Thanks ladies
ReplyDeleteSchucks MMMC, I am blushing. Thanks for your kind words, you are to kind!
It will float around the house like other blankets. Time on beds, time on couches. Maybe I should get it framed, it has been such a mammoth effort of the Manny proportions.
This truly is a masterpiece. I am blown away by the talented friends I've met blogging, and you're up there! Love the colour combo... nearly finished so keep on going... go Babette blankie... go!!
