The decorated glass jar looked a bit 'out of place' next to the computer so I decided to whip up a matching tissue box cover. Just what every computer desk needs (??) Probably not, but just love the pattern so much- so quick, so easy, thanks Michelle!:

These are fabulous!! I like that you're mixing the home-made, soft and colourful accessories with the stark, factory made and modern world of technology. It's a good contrast!!
ReplyDeleteMy Gran used to be famous for crocheting anything that didn't move. How cool she'd be these days if still alive. I could have her on etsy! :)
I saw this pattern too and am itching to make it, a great holiday gift don't you think? I also crocheted a little rug with t-shirt yarn, but you need so much! Instead I started crocheting with sheets, which are more plentiful, and the results are lovely, very! Haven't posted it on my blog since I'm saving it for a publishing project, but drop by for some other crocheting and lots of crafts. by the way, could you give me the pattern for the little 6 pointed star in you banner photo? Thanks so very much! all the best! Sara
ReplyDeleteThat looks fabulous. Making one of those tissue box covers has been on my list of things to do for some time now. Feeling all inspired again... thanks!
