To work out who has won the Far Far Away material I have asked Ned Kelly for assistance

 Other excitement here today was a visit from a carpet snake.

I have a belief that he was visiting to see the bunting. Hubby doesn't agree.

Here he is making a beeline for the house. 

Just what everyone needs in their roof-a carpet snake.

He was averted with a broom and hopefully slithered away somewhere far far away.

Trampoline bunting is up

Bunting is up. Adds a bit of 'carnivalness' to a bit of a shabby area.

Perhaps it needs to be extended to the Chook house?? Don't think the 'girls' would appreciate it. It's not edible.

Frame some crocheting!

 Instant colour on the white walls!

I have had these lovely square frames forever so it is great to finally put them to some use.

I have crocheted polyester string for this lot just for something different.

The options are endless!

New colour scheme every week perhaps??

Bunting birthday cards

Continuing on with the bunting theme I whipped up these birthday cards last night with some scraps.

Elsie is off to a birthday party on the weekend for twin sisters.

I love giving cards but hate paying for them.

Making them ticks the boxes for me.

My creative space

I have always loved bunting.

My creative space today is this 'outdoor' bunting to drape around some trees near our trampoline.

Ella spends alot of time there 'just bouncing'.

This is made from mexican oilcloth. 

Hopefully it will stand up to the weather (at least for a while).

Far Far Away 1 giveaway

 

I love all Heather Ross fabric. I was in a bit of a Heather Ross frenzy and collected this lot (4 half metres and one fat quarter).

It is gorgeous but I have decided it needs to go to a new home for a better experience.

I am happy to send it anywhere in the world.

New Tooth, no more golf

Day of golfing 'accident'

Big day for Elsie today, operation 'new front tooth' started at 0830 this morning. Thank goodness for modern dentistry techniques.

Brave brave girl, enduring more needles in the mouth (ouch). I was very proud of her.
The crown is purely cosmetic, she will need a dental 'implant' when she has stopped growing.
No more biting into a 'red delicous' until then.
